APRIL 2021: 8 NEW SECS JOINED THE NETWORK

In April 2021, we were delighted to welcome 8 new SECs to the network. These were:

APRIL 29: SEC INFORMATION EVENT FOR ELECTED MEMBERS

We were delighted to host an information session about the Sustainable Energy Communities (SEC) Programme for all elected representatives from Dublin City, Dún Laoghaire–Rathdown, Fingal, Kildare, Meath, South Dublin and Wicklow.  This event gave an overview of the SEC programme and the involvement of local authorities in the region, while highlighting an inspiring case study from Ringsend-Irishtown SEC. APRIL 22: MARINO SEC INFORMATION EVENT

Are you living in the Marino area and looking for ways for making your neighbourhood more sustainable and energy efficient?

This webinar is hosted by your local Dublin City SEC mentor Ger Doherty and will talk you through how you can join your local Sustainable Energy Community in Marino and the many benefits of doing so, including:

  • Make homes and local buildings more comfortable and energy efficient
  • Boost local employment
  • Building energy knowledge within the community
  • Making your community a leader in sustainable energy
  • Share experience with other communities all around the country
