About this project

Codema has been engaged to support the four Dublin Local Authorities (DLAs) with the implementation of the Dublin Local Authority Electric Vehicle Charging Strategy. The strategy was published in June 2022 and provides an assessment of public infrastructure needs across the four DLA areas between now and 2030.

It details what type of charging points should be deployed and where, the number of charging points needed, the level of investment that will be required, and the roles the local authorities could play in the infrastructure rollout. The strategy has identified the need for the installation of 500 – 3,800 public electric vehicle charge points (EVCPs) across the county by 2030, led by the local authorities. Codema has been engaged to develop a process for the delivery and ongoing operation of the required quantity of EVCPs.
