Announcing our nomination

We are delighted to announce that Codema has been shortlisted for STEM Employer of the Year at this year’s Women in STEM Awards. This recognition highlights Codema’s ongoing commitment to promoting gender diversity and empowering women in Ireland’s STEM sector.

For over 25 years, Codema has been dedicated to fostering an inclusive and supportive workplace. With half of our team identifying as female, including a female CEO, our organisation places an important emphasis on equality and empowerment at every level.

Similarly, Codema actively supports young female professionals, with over 60 per cent of our female staff under the age of 40. Through mentoring programmess and ongoing professional development initiatives, we aim to inspire and cultivate the next generation of female leaders in Ireland’s energy sector. To support this, Codema provides flexible working arrangements, including an innovative four-day work week, hybrid work options, and adaptable hours—policies that enhance work-life balance for all employees.

We are delighted to receive this nomination and recognition of our work in driving gender equality, professional development and innovative work practices in Dublin’s transition to a low-carbon future.
