About this team

At Codema, we firmly believe that people have a right to participate in decisions that will affect their lives. Gaining the support and buy-in of the people of Dublin is an essential part in moving our capital away from fossil fuels and this is only achievable through meaningful, high-quality engagement. Engaging people in a way that is transparent, deliberative, accessible and inclusive is just as important as the technical solutions that need to be implemented. We also recognise the importance of bringing all of the necessary stakeholders together to support the implementation of low-carbon solutions and meet our carbon-reduction targets.

This is where our Public and Stakeholder Engagement team comes in, bringing together our experience of designing and implementing high-quality public and stakeholder engagement to support a wide-range of projects across Codema. A core part of our work is developing opportunities for people across Dublin to get involved in how we use and produce energy. For example, we support several of the Dublin Local Authorities with the community engagement process in their Decarbonising Zones and develop best-practice stakeholder communication and engagement plans to support the development and roll-out of low-carbon energy solutions across Dublin and the Mid-East.
