The Home Energy Saving Kit wins Energy Globe Awards

The Energy Globe Award recognises innovative and sustainable projects from around the world, especially those addressing or raising awareness about reducing emissions and pollution. The Home Energy Saving Kit was the national winner for Ireland, recognised for its support in helping households increase energy awareness in the home.
This award adds to the kits recognition, having been awarded an EU Sustainable Energy Award in 2017, which praised the kits ease of use and potential to benefit a range of users such as householders, businesses and schools.
The Home Energy Saving Kit scheme started 6 years ago, launching 10 pilot kits in selected Dublin City Libraries. Now kits can be found in 23 counties and are available to borrow from over 170 library locations.
