As part of Codema's engagement with Veolia to gain insights into existing district heating systems across Dublin, Codema was invited to a site visit of the DH system at Elm Park on Thursday, 15th June 2017. The visit included a trip to the boiler room, featuring 2x biomass boilers (1.5MW - currently not in operation), 4x condensing gas boilers (4.1MW) and 4x gas engine CHP units (1.8MW). Codema also got a glimpse of the heat exchangers in the residential units of the environment and the water pipe network.
